Superflat goes 3D
Currently touring, with the exhibit now stationed at the Brooklyn Museum New York, this is great resource for videos featuring the artist TAKASHI MURAKAMI discussing his work.
A New York Times article on the said exhibit,
This animation is a spot for LOUIS VUITTON.

Hey Mickey!

Artist DAVID FLORES collaboration with MEDICOM to create the most exciting version of MICKEY MOUSE since the HAJIME SORAYAMA Dhyp FUTURE MICKEYS. We love him! With the sheer output of designer vinyl (too many pretenders to the throne) it's great to see someone come along with a unique vision. Most designer collabs with Disney have produced vinyl pieces taking the expected super-deformed or ultra-cute (chibi) look, yet here is a print design that simply wraps around a traditional Mickey sculpt. David Flores' style has translated well to the many toy pieces he has created in the last 6 months, sure to overtake Kaws in volume of production if the picture below is anything to go by. Love the GREY COLOUR VARIANT of Mickey.

Exciting Japanese DISNEY products available here.

If you go down to the woods today!
From Japanese design team DEVILROBOTS, comes this weird and wonderful collaboration with T9ROB. A distinctive vinyl figure As reinterpreted by sculptor T9ROB from the ever-popular EVIROB series. Nice detail and and best of all those crazy eyes peering through the helmet!
